Final Blog

I've learned a good deal in this class over the two semesters that I've taken it. It has of course been interesting learning a new language, but it has also been interesting to learn about how people of other cultures view Americans. I suppose that I knew that Americans were friendly and outgoing, but it was still interesting to learn that other cultures didn't see that as the norm. It has also been interesting just learning about how Germans live on a day to day basis, and what sort of things are popular in their country. As someone who wants to travel abroad, I have learned how difficult it must be to live in a foreign country.
